COMING SOON: On May 26, 2026, Jeff Copper will be participating in the Enrichment Series sponsored by the ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO) on the topic, ADHD and Motivation in the Contet of an Executive Function Impairment. His presentation explores motivation through Dr. Russell Barkley’s executive function model of ADHD. Rather than viewing motivation as a single trait, he looks at it as a “two-force” system that shapes what we do (and what we avoid).
Framing motivation as part of an impairment helps explain common patterns that traditional views don’t capture. The webinar provides content on subjects that are relevant to ADHD coaches to give them a clearer lens for understanding motivation challenges in ADHD and practical implications for supporting their clients and “manufacturing” motivation.
